FBW: Interview with Dumb Mom of parenting BY dummies

1) Why did you decide to join the Blogger Body Calendar project?

I decided to join BBC because I like showing my girly bits off to the world, yo. Yeahright. I got involved because I thought it was a great idea, for a great cause, done by some great women. Not in that order. For me, it’s almost always about the people involved. I always lied on that, if-your-friends-jumped-off-a-bridge-would-you-do-it-too questions as a kid. Naturally, when asked I’d say no, all big and bad like too. But in my mind, I’d be thinking, “depends”. You know on which friend it was. Because as far as I’m concerned if my best pal is jumping off a bridge I probably want to be involved because she’s a)gonna need my help to save her stupid-bridge-jumping life, or b)she’s jumping down to where the party boat is stacked with booze and hotties and I don’t wanna miss out on a rump shakin’ good time! So, that’s what this was like for me. Some awesome women were involved, they asked me to join, as one who NEVER misses a good rump shake, I agreed. So, here I am, droppin’ it like it’s hot for BBC 2011.

2) Describe your calendar photo in 140 characters or less.

Dumb Mom. Lookin’ dumb. Like always. You’ll laugh. Or cry. Or rip May out & step on it. But U will remember me 4eva. Because U can’t forget.

3) Do you consider yourself successful at blogging? Why or why not?

Yep. I am successful ast blogging. You know I show up to my computer everyday and crank something somewhat chuckle worthy out. It being a successful BLOGGER that I struggle with. It’s my working a room abilities that are lacking. I don’t know how to network (think that’s what grown ups call it). More than once I’ve found myself in a room shoving cupcakes down my throat because I LOVE CUPCAKES, I mean, because I felt too intimidated to actually talk to people. It sucks, you know. But, I guess being aloof and mysterious (aka suspicious) is part of my “brand”. So, totally lying. Need to work on the whole branding thing too apparently. Networking and branding are on my list-of-things-to-up-my-blogging-awesome in 2011. Soonest I can get to them, 2010 is totally shot for me.
