Mazarine Treyz, author of The Wild Woman’s Guide to Fundraising, speaker, trainer, and social media expert. I’m really bad at writing about myself in the third person, so let’s just toss that out right now. I’m passionate about helping people empower themselves to change the world. For street cred, I’ve raised over $1M US in the past three years for various causes. My fundraising book has sold all over the world and was called one of the top 10 nonprofit books of 2010 by Beth Kanter, top nonprofit blogger and CEO of Zoetica. I’ve done trainings and speaking engagements for the Center for Nonprofit Organizations, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, Texas Association for Nonprofit Organizations and The Future is Now Conference, among other places. What can you learn from me? I want to help you succeed with your cause, whether you’re fundraising, marketing, running a business, or standing up to the office bully. I wrote my book to help people identify their deepest hopes and fears around fundraising and working in the nonprofit world.
Currently, in addition to blogging on WildWomanFundraising.com, I am writing a book called the 3-D Reputation Engine about how to control the first 3 pages of google search results about you. I also help people manage their digital reputations with Treyz Social Media.
In my spare time: When I’m not writing and speaking and generally motivating the hell out of everybody, I have fun writing poetry and teaching encaustic art classes in Austin, Texas.
